Intellectual Capitol Presents – Where to Start: An A to Z Presentation for WV Entrepreneurs FEB. 6, 2014

An event for entrepreneurs will be held on Thursday February 6th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM  in the First State Capitol, 1413 Eoff Street, Wheeling, WV.  The event is presented by the West Liberty University Center for Entrepreneurship and the
Wheeling Academy of Law and Science.  This program will provide the essentials for a business start-up and will host experts in the fields of business, law, social media, marketing, and accounting in order to answer questions first hand.  Many of the tips given will be applicable to owners of existing small-businesses.  Immediately following the program there will be a Mardi Gras-themed social with hors d’oeuvres, local beverages and special music and entertainment.

Intellectual Capitol is a small-business incubator and was formed through a partnership between the Wheeling Academy of Law and Science and West Liberty University’s Center for Entrepreneurship with the purpose to promote business growth in the Wheeling, WV area.  Its mission is to incubate graduates and mentor them with their business goals with the aim of launching WLU alumni into self-sustaining local businesses by providing technology and office needs and assisting with business planning, funding sources, and locating clients.  Once participants complete the initial start-up phase, the business will need to move on to make space for a new start-up.
